Animal rights advocates are doing everything to protect animals all over the world. They will do their best to rescue animals in distress and to educate people about animal welfare. One of the things that animal rights advocates campaign about these days is ending the dog meat trade in some countries in the world.
China Rescue Dogs is an organization that is committed to saving and rescuing dogs from dog meat farms and bringing them to the United States to find their forever homes. Its founder, Jill Stewart, is a passionate advocate of animal rights particularly in China. China Rescue Dogs’ mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and repatriate dogs from China and provide them with forever homes in the United States. The latest rescue that they are doing is to rescue about 200 dogs and they are requesting the public for help and funding in making the mission possible.
145 dogs from China arrived between March 3-5, 2021 at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York for rehoming. Another batch of dogs would arrive by the end of March if there would be no problems along the way and if donations were enough to cover the expenses for their repatriation. China Rescue dogs needed at least $30,000 to make this possible.
China Rescue Dogs rescued dogs regardless of their breed, health condition, and age. The team wanted to rescue as many dogs as possible and to give them the life they really deserved. The dogs that they rescued were from meat trucks and slaughterhouses. These dogs had experienced so much abuse and neglect.
Before their transport to the United States, the dogs had undergone quarantine. They were also vaccinated and microchipped. The rescuers had made sure that the dogs were ready for adoption as soon as they arrived in the United States.
Thank you, China Rescue Dogs, for your commitment to saving dogs from China!
