Floyd is a huge Great Dane who has been a part of Emily’s family since he was just a puppy. When the sweet pup was around one year old, his family had a throw blanket on their couch. And, for the first time, the puppy Floyd learned about the wonders of blankets.
Floyd kept stealing the blanket on the couch. Because his family saw how much he liked it, they finally decided to let him have it. Since then, Floyd always keeps a blanket by his side.

Now, Floyd is over two years old and has become pretty gigantic. Despite that, he still has an obsession with blankets and loves the security that it provides him. Wherever he goes, Floyd is sure to carry it with him.
Because Floyd has grown into an enormous dog, he sometimes accidentally rips his blanket apart. This usually happens when he drags it around or trips over it. So, his family ensures to have extra blankets readily available. Otherwise, Floyd would be devastated.

According to Emily, aside from the one that Floyd uses every day at home, they also have one in the car. They keep one at her boyfriend’s place too, which Floyd uses whenever they visit. Whether he is at home lounging around or out on a picnic, Floyd is sure to have a blanket in his mouth.
Even as he sleeps, Floyd makes sure to snuggle with it. Emily said that he brings his blanket upstairs when they’re about to sleep at night. Then, in the morning, he takes it back down.

Emily and her family couldn’t figure out why Floyd has a huge obsession on blankets. But, whatever it is, they love the pup for it. This has become a big part of who he is.
As Emily said, Floyd is such a sweetheart. He’s clueless at how big he is. Whenever he can, Floyd would cuddle and sit on their lap. He’s a lot like his blankets – soft, cuddly, and very loving.
