A dog’s loyalty is immeasurable. It’s unlimited, it doesn’t choose, and most of all, it’s given freely. A family from Sevier County, Tennessee, is thankful to their family dog for saving their son’s life.
Since Bryson was born, Shiloh has been responsible for watching over his brother. Soon, the two became inseparable. Wherever Bryson went, Shiloh followed.
They love spending all their time together and often play together in their yard. As Bryan Holloway said during an interview, Bryson and Shiloh are inseparable. Both have bonded well.
It was a typical day at the Holloway residence. Bryson was already on the family’s porch playing when suddenly Shiloh launched towards the little boy, especially towards the toddler’s feet. According to Bryan, he saw Shiloh jerking after his jump.
After closer inspection, Bryan discovered that Shiloh had protected Bryson from a dangerous snake bite. It was clear that Shiloh saw the copperhead snake before anyone else did. The bite would have been fatal to Bryson if Shiloh didn’t intervene.
Bryson’s mom, Alicia Holloway, was so thankful for what their dog did. She believed that God used Shiloh to protect her precious son from a deadly snake bite. Shiloh was immediately taken to a vet clinic and was given a full round of antibiotics and pain medication. Watch the video below of Shiloh and Bryan having the time of their lives.
Aren’t dogs amazing? No one’s questioning Shiloh’s love towards his brother after what he did. He offered his life to save Bryson. The love and loyalty Shiloh showed his family is so deep that not even death can shake it.
