The lives of couple Sarah and Zachary Lebwohl changed forever when they had their first child two years ago. Looking back, it was a challenging but satisfying journey not just for them but also for their dog, Prince.
A Challenging Journey Made Easier By Prince
The couple knew it would be difficult, but since Sarah got pregnant, Prince had always been there for them. He seemed to understand that their family was growing soon. Hence, he was very attentive to Sarah’s needs.
Because of Prince, Sarah’s pregnancy became easier than she expected. Prince was also very excited to meet and play with her new friend.
Prince Welcomes Halle
When their baby first came home, Prince kept sniffing her, trying to get to know the new family member. He was gentle and careful around the baby because he knew she was still tiny and fragile.
Since that day, Prince’s love and dedication for baby Halle have grown a lot deeper. He loved her a lot and tried to protect her all the time. He always watched over her when they played or even when she was sitting still.
Prince Babysits Halle
Now that Halle is nearly two years old, the couple has moved her to a separate room. It was tough for them, but the presence of Prince made them worry less.
Prince sleeps with Sarah and Zach, but when Halle cries, he rushes to her room instantaneously. Even in the middle of the night, the protective dog will get up and help Sarah put Halle back to sleep.
Prince had been Halle’s “knight in shining armor” and an unexpected savior for Sarah and Zach. He lets them have a little more sleep when they are exhausted. Now, everyone is well-rested and happy in the morning.
