Amanda Leask is a proud fur parent to at least 40 equally amazing dogs. According to Amanda, each of her dogs has their heartwarming rescue stories. However, the story of Miracle stood out from the rest.
Living up to her name, Miracle, a beautiful white pooch, survived an ordeal in her past life. The pooch was one of the 100 dogs who got rescued from a Thailand illegal dog meat trade. The pooch was then transported to the United States to be given a new chance at life.
Amanda recalled that she adopted the pooch because she pitied how Miracle looked. The pooch, according to Amanda, was stuffed in a cramped cage with the 100 other dogs. Upon seeing the depressing photo, Amanda knew she had to help the pooch, and so she did.
That time, Amanda is already a fur parent to several dogs. However, she knew that she could still accommodate Miracle because of the dog’s condition. When Miracle arrived in her new home, she was a little bit of aloof towards other dogs.
But Amanda did not force Miracle to change right away. The dog owner knew that the pooch got subjected to a horrifying condition in her past life, so it would take time to heal. As the days progressed in their home, though, Miracle showed signs of recovery. The pooch began interacting with other dogs and showed her light side.
Amanda then discovered that the pooch has a talent. With this discovery, Amanda trained the dog with four other dogs because she wants the dogs to perform at Britain’s Got Talent. During their performance, it was Miracle who became the showstopper because of her story. The dog’s incredible story of survival moved the judges to tears before he was given the green light to enter the next round.
