It’s unbelievable that there are heartless people that are capable of doing outrageous things to stray dogs. Although strays may tip over garbage cans and make a mess on your driveway, they don’t deserve to be physically abused. Stray dogs are just trying to survive, and they have no other way to get food other than from people’s scraps.
Rescuers found a stray dog named Lily with a serious wound. Apparently, a heartless individual shot Lily in the face. Lily was bleeding when she was found, and there was no way that Lily was going to survive without help. Thankfully, she was found alive. Although Lily was in pain, she didn’t act aggressively towards her rescuers.
Lily’s rescuers arranged transport to take her to the animal hospital emergency room. The rescuers didn’t know who or why Lily was shot. However, they knew that they had to save Lily’s life. When X-rays of Lily was taken, the bullet was still lodged inside her body. Thankfully, the bullet didn’t hit any vital organs.
The rescuer went live on social media to talk about Lily. In the video, you’ll see that Lily is not aggressive. In fact, she’s very sweet and gentle that she lets the rescuer pet her. It’s unclear why someone would shoot Lily when she isn’t even aggressive. Lily is nothing but love and cuddles.
Lily had to stay in the hospital for three days before she was stable enough to be discharged. After Lily was released from the animal hospital, the rescuer took Lily to a foster where she will hopefully make a full recovery. When Lily finally gets stronger, she will need surgery to get the bullet out of her body.
Before the woman took Lily to her foster, she promised her to get some burgers first. People who viewed the video felt nothing but pity for sweet Lily.
