It’s unbelievable how many dogs are found in strange and unlivable locations. Fortunately, rescuers around the world are dedicated to putting them in a good home.
This heartwarming story is about a dog found in a ditch.
A rescuer named Diana saw a small dog abandoned in a ditch in Houston, Texas. The dog only had a towel to keep it warm, which didn’t do much. Diana decided to call a friend to help her rescue the dog. That friend later became the dog’s foster mom.
After Diana’s friend, Samantha, assisted with the rescue, she immediately volunteered to be the dog’s guardian. The friends agreed with the arrangement and named the dog Mica. Later that day, Mica arrived at Samantha’s home and was immediately given a well-needed bath.
Samantha gave Mica her own space so she could relax. The dog needed to have some time for herself before meeting the other dogs in the house. Eventually, Mica ended up becoming good friends with the other dogs.
Samantha had never heard Mica bark even once. She may be quiet, but it’s easy to see when she’s excited. She likes to wiggle her body and do a cute dance.
Despite being physically expressive, Mica would never get in the way of the other dogs in the house. She respects their personal space and would only play with them if they are comfortable doing so. Thus Samantha became sure that Mica would be a great lapdog.
After three weeks of staying with Samantha, Mica was transferred to a good home in Minnesota. She got adopted by a loving family who gave her everything she needed. There is no shortage of affection that’s being received or given in Mica’s new home.
It’s hard to imagine why such a wonderful and gentle dog like Mica was abandoned in a ditch. Regardless of that, it’s good to know that her story has a happy conclusion. This dog deserves to be where she is right now.
