Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are both well-known Hollywood actors. However, what the majority of people do not know is that the couple is also the doting parents of two dogs. One of the couple’s dogs, an Alaskan Klee Kais named Waldo Picasso, had sadly crossed the rainbow bridge.
Porky Basquiat was the couple’s first pet dog, and Joe got him as a surprise for Sophie. In April 2018, after deciding that another dog would be good for Porky, they adopted Waldo.
The two dogs led a life that few of us have experienced. Joe stated that their dogs had traveled with them and may have traveled more than other people. The canines have traveled to France, Amsterdam, Canada, England, and several U.S. locations.
When the couple traveled to the Maldives for their honeymoon, they did not anticipate an event that would happen within a few days. Waldo had gone on a stroll with his dog walker in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. He became frightened by a pedestrian, escaped his leash, raced into traffic, and was struck by a car.
The couple reported the incident to the New York Police Department after only a few days because they were so stressed by what happened. They also sought assistance from a therapist to help them cope better because of their tremendous loss.
After a week, the couple went on social media to pay tribute to their beloved pet by posting a picture of Waldo. They also had a tattoo of the dog on their arms, which was quite lovely. The pair shared this on their own Instagram profiles. Surely, they both miss Waldo so much!
The couple still has Porky with them, and they prioritize spending as much time as possible with him. They then realized that life is really short and that is why they want to have more precious moments with their fur child.
