This dog may be small but he definitely has a big heart for his dog best friend.
Your best companion will always have your best interest in mind. They will giggle with you, cry with you during your lowest moments, and they can also go as far as saving your life when a vicious enemy attacks. These sentiments hold true, not just for us humans, but for our furry canines as well.
One perfect example is this brave Dachshund named Winston, who has proven to us that he is the type of best friend one could ever have. The little pup was ready to risk his own life to save Mijo, his best buddy, from a fierce lion attack.
Mijo who is a Chihuahua, is very lucky to be alive, all thanks to Winston. Little Winston did his best to fight the lion and make it run away. But the poor Mijo didn’t manage to escape the horrifying incident without any wounds. Apparently, Mijo suffered deep bruises and wounds in his scalp when the lion attempted to bite off his head.
With so much force from the lion, an eye popped out which, unfortunately, led to Mijo having frequent seizures and other nerve damages. Mijo still has a long way to recovery, but he definitely wouldn’t have made it this far if Winston didn’t come to rescue him.
Sarah Moore, their owner, shares that the terrifying incident just happened so fast. It is a miracle that Mijo is still very much alive. She is grateful that her two babies are still with her. She is also happy to share that many viewers have donated to help in Mijo’s operation.
Indeed, Winston has proven that his friendship with Mijo is the type of bond we strive to have. Good job Winston for being such a hero!
