In West Street, Raleigh, there is a doggy daycare/off-leash dog bar, which is often full of frolicking dogs playing together — however, a pooch named Pogo is refusing to join in all the fun and chaos.
This American bulldog-boxer mix does not want to play with other dogs in the daycare and prefers to sit on a barstool like a human. And from her spot, Pogo can watch and judge other dogs all she wants. With the look on her face, you can tell she’s not impressed with them.
Recently, a video of her went viral, with people having different theories of why she doesn’t want to hang out with other dogs. Some people assume that Pogo is an introvert, whereas others say she is not a dog person. Whatever the reason, the one who posted the video online thinks that Pogo is a whole mood.
Grace Wheeler, Pogo’s mom, works at West Street, and she brings her pooch to work every day.
According to the fur mom, when Pogo gets up on the chairs, it’s her way of telling other dogs that she is better than them. She has always got up on the chairs or anything meant for a human.
However, this judgmental queen does not only sit like a human — she has also adopted other human mannerisms.
Her fur mom said that Pogo loves snuggling like a human and sitting on chairs, benches, the bar, and sometimes people. The pooch also loves car rides and would even hang her elbow by the window.
This dog’s unique attitude has caught lots of attention from the people at the dog bar. Her mom said Pogo has plenty of fans. The doggy daycare posts the pooch on their Instagram page, and people would come to look for her.
Although her pooch does not want to play with the other dogs, Wheeler loves Pogo regardless. She said that Pogo brought joy to her and the people around them.
And as for Pogo, she will follow her beloved mom anywhere. That is, as long as there is a barstool where she could be away from the rabble.
