Kathryn and Sebastian were homeless dogs in Florida before they found themselves at a local shelter. The police discovered them together and assumed they were siblings. Although the canines were incredibly lovely, they had little chance of being adopted and were even placed on the kill list.
Thankfully, Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue discovered the dogs. Volunteers drove a long distance from New York to rescue the siblings immediately. They pledged to improve their life.
The volunteers, Gracie and Krista, spent hours on the road driving and it was an extremely long trip. But after meeting the dogs, they both decided that it was all worthwhile.
Sebastian is an intelligent dog. He enjoys cuddling and loves all the attention that he receives. In contrast, Kathryn is very energetic. She is very playful and enjoys belly rubs.
After making all the required preparations, Gracie, Krista, Kathryn, and Sebastian set out on their long journey back to New York. While on the road, they paused for a brief swim at the beach. The dogs were initially bewildered, but soon understood that playing in the water and sand is a fun thing to do. The group kept traveling for the following two days.
After traveling 1,256 miles, they finally arrived in New York. Gracie and Krista collaborated with two other volunteers to find permanent homes for the animals.
Sarah, Sebastian’s new mother, stated that they waited a long time to adopt a dog again after their previous dog passed away four years ago. She added that they longed for a dog’s presence and had been waiting for the right time to adopt a new dog, which seemed to be right at that moment.
Meanwhile, Melissa, the new mother of Kathryn, felt both excited and anxious. She stated that she hopes that the dog would enjoy living with her. She was not disappointed because the dog quickly felt at home.
