A dog loves to eat, play, sleep, and then repeat. Our favorite furry companions love to enjoy life like that, but they also appreciate a surprise every once in a while.
This Black Labrador named Samwise is the perfect example. On this day, he got to eat a fine steak, all because it’s his second birthday.
Dogs don’t have a concept of birthdays, so this fortunate canine was stoked with his steak. You could see that it’s a prime cut, and it must have cost this dog’s dad a pretty penny, the lucky pet.
It didn’t matter to dad, because all he wanted was for his good boy to have the best on his special day. The meat was cooked to medium-rare and served to Sam in bite-sized pieces.
Then it was time for Samwise to enjoy his treat. The adorable pet sat on the porch, a handsome neckerchief around his neck. He looked every bit the gentleman about to have the best steak ever.
Dad wished his pet a happy birthday and told him how he’s the best doggo in the whole world. The speech was touching, but it was Sam’s nose that got our attention.
The adorable pet’s sniffer twitched uncontrollably. We’re willing to bet our wallets that it’s all because of the amazing steak aroma. Being a good boy, Samwise couldn’t just dig in.
He had to wait until dad gave the go signal and when he finally did, the doggo ate with gusto. He found that the steak tasted as great as it smelled, and there was a lot of it too!
We’re glad that you had fun and got to eat a great meal, Samwise. You must be a spectacular doggo for your dad to treat you with such lavish grub.
