When the lockdowns occurred in many countries around the world, people had to deal with just staying at home. Staying at home would not be a problem if it was only for a day or two but lockdowns happened for months so people started to get creative to amuse themselves.
One dog owner decided to find a good way to walk his dog. Since going outside was not an option for humans, the dog owner became creative and found a great way so his dog could have his walks outside. How he did it? He used a drone!
Vakis Demetrious is from Israel and currently living in Cyprus. He recorded a video of Oliver, his beloved dog. He shared this video on his Instagram account. He even put a caption where he said that in the midst of the quarantine, people should continue to stay at home but they should also make sure that they keep their dogs happy.
In the video, you can see Vakis using a drone so that Oliver would be able to have his exercise. Instead of him taking the dog out, the drone served as the dog’s guide and companion during the walk. Vakis tied the end of the dog’s leash to the drone and he controls the drone via remote.
From how things it, Oliver was quite fine with the whole set up even if his owner was not with him. He looked like he was definitely enjoying his time outside and getting the walk that he really wanted to have after staying at home for many hours.
That video of the drone walking the dog became quite popular online that it has been viewed millions of times. It has also been uploaded and shared on many social media sites. Well, who wouldn’t? The whole thing just brings a lot of good vibes that we so desperately need during this pandemic.
