Loving a pet means giving your best to take care of it. And every pet owner knows this all too well. However, this man named Lee Asher has taken his love for dogs to another level when he set off on an ultimate charity adventure.
Driven by his dedication to rescuing shelter dogs, Asher quitted his job and sold everything he owned. He then decided to hit the road along with his friend and their six dogs. Together, they got into an RV and drove from places to places for their ultimate goal.
Besides helping these poor little canines, Asher also wanted people to understand that they aren’t aggressive creatures because they are often spotted barking inside their cages. Instead, they are animals who long for love and affection. That is why they tend to bark, wanting to get out of their kennels.
So far, Asher and his friend had traveled to 31 states, managing to meet 90 shelter dogs in the process. They bond with their beloved furry friends who also help them in their rescue mission during their adventure. Every time they would hang out in their bed, it was like they were having a big dog party.
The best thing about Asher and his friend is that they are not picky when it comes to the dogs they wanted to help. Whether the dogs are small or big, young or old, and healthy or in bad condition, Asher and his buddy help them find a forever home. After all, it is their mission to take every dog out of the shelter across the country.
Hitting 48 states may come out as an ambitious goal. But for Asher, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to help those shelter dogs and bring each one of them to a new home. Not only is he having fun, but he is also making a huge difference in the lives of these canines.
