Siberian Husky puppies are known for their thick, fluffy coats. And while they may look cute and cuddly, those coats can be a lot of work to keep up with.
Just ask this dog mom, who was trying to comb her pup’s coat and was met with some serious resistance.
The dog didn’t have any qualms letting mom know she dislikes the use of comb on her fur. We’re not sure why, but perhaps it has something to do with the static this kind of comb creates.
In the dog mom’s defense, she does seem to be trying her best to be gentle with the pup. It looks like this dog would rather just let her undercoat grow rather than be subjected to this combing ritual.
Hard no
And we get it. Brushing and combing dogs’ hair is no easy feat, especially when they’re constantly wiggling around and trying to escape.
We have no choice but to hold them down so that we could do what needs to be done.
Grooming woes
No one likes being held down, especially when one is subjected to an activity that is not to our liking.
We have a feeling this dog mom will be trying some new tactics to get her pup’s coat under control. But in the meantime, we’re just glad this dog didn’t bite or anything like that.
She just let her mom know in the surest of terms that she didn’t like being combed. Perhaps mom should try a different brush made of another material other than plastic.
That might just make a difference and it might make her life a little better.
The dog’s response is all the more relatable for any rebellious kids out there who don’t enjoy having their hair brushed or combed. Hang in there, doggo. It’s for your good, so let mom do it for you!
