Valia Orfanidou, the creator of the YouTube series The Orphan Puppy, was standing on her front porch when she noticed a dog that would unexpectedly appear on the streets of her hometown. It was late at night, and she did not know where the dog came from. Nevertheless, just as she was going to say hello, he disappeared.
The following night, the dog reappeared. She acted immediately and started to earn his trust. She invested a number of evenings cultivating a friendship with him. She was determined to assist the dog, but was perplexed as to why he only arrived at night.
Valia persisted in her attempts to acquire the dog’s trust despite her reservations. As in the past, he only visited her residence at night. Finally, one morning, he summoned his remaining strength and came.
The dog realized it was acceptable to visit his new pal throughout the day. He was well-mannered and caused no problems. But, a furious neighbor noticed the puppy sleeping on his flowerbed and shooed him away. He never appeared again afterward. Valia had not spotted the dog for some months.
One day, her uncle emailed her a photograph of a blind dog, which turned out to be the dog that had been visiting her residence. That was the same dog she had sought to assist a few months before.
The rescuer traveled to the little town where the dog was last spotted. She saw him and imagined he would flee from her once more. Nonetheless, he realized he needed her assistance, so he stayed put. Despite his anxiety, he ate the lunch she offered him and allowed her to drive him to her car.
Freddy was the dog’s name, and he was diagnosed with heartworms, Erichlia, and Leishmaniasis. But, despite his terrible state, his happy tail never stopped wagging. He recognized that he was finally safe and is grateful that the proper people located him.
His path to recovery will be lengthy, but Valia remains hopeful. Freddy will obtain what he requires and overcome all of his problems with the assistance of the organization Save a Greek Stray, which was eager to assist him after hearing his story.
