All dogs love a good scratching, even strays. And while strays don’t have the privilege of being scratched by their loving owners – well because they don’t have one – some are just ingenious enough to find ways to satisfy their craving for a good old scratching.
As the next featured video shows, a stray dog learned that a car wash is more than just a place where you can wash your car – it is a place for a good scratching too! This stray dog must have been living in the area for quite a while now since he learned how to take advantage of the car wash.
The video starts with a car being washed in an automatic car wash. Just behind the car that is being washed, a stray dog can be seen hanging around, as though he is up to something fishy, or rather washy.
The person filming the entire event must have felt that the dog was about to do something sneaky, and right he was! Just as the car has moved further into the car wash, the dog then waits for the frilled washers to come down. As if the dog has done it a hundred times already, he knew exactly what happens next.
He perfectly positions himself just below the frilled washer, and as it came down, it gave the dog a good scratching with its rotating frills. We can only imagine how great it felt as the dog moves to position himself perfectly and have the washer scratch the spots that it missed.
All we can say is, that’s one brilliant dog. His experience in the streets must have taught him such problem-solving skills, and while we hope that he finds a forever home some time in the future, it is a consolation that we know he has learned to become self-sufficient even without the help of humans.
