In Seoul, South Korea, a couple owns a white Maltese named Jaerong. They live in a high-rise apartment in the heart of the city.
Jaerong spends most of his time inside the apartment. The dog spends the day lazily lying around the place. Its favorite place is the window where it can feel the wind.
When Jaerong’s owner tells it that they will go for a stroll, its face brightens up. It can’t wait to go out of the building. The dog gets energized walking on the sidewalk. But it prefers to walk on the ground where it can feel the soil with its feet.
The dog loves nature
After going back to the apartment, Jaerong quickly loses its energy and goes back to lazily lying around the room. Soon, it moves to its favorite spot by the open window. It looks out the window as if dreaming of a faraway land.
The next weekend, the couple decided to go to the countryside for a break from their city life. Jaerong was the most excited when riding the car. The dog knew they were on a trip to its special place.
The countryside is the dog’s favorite place
After a few hours, the family reached the countryside. Jaerong could not express its happiness upon stepping on the ground. It excitedly ran all over the place. Jaerong enjoyed exploring every part of the farm.
At the end of the day, Jaerong’s white fur has become very dirty that it looked like a different dog. Its owner bathed it before going home. The dog was exhausted from all the running it did all day.
As the time to go back to the city came near, Jaerong sat quietly in a place overlooking the view of the countryside. The couple knew Jaerong loves this place. They will surely come back as often as they can.
