Even before marrying Ms. Universe winner Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, Tim Elbow has already been enjoying the spotlight. He played for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL), and his skills caught the eyes of many fans, including girls. But what impressed most people about Tim is his soft spot for dogs.
Before joining the Denver Broncos in the NFL, Tim is a father to a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Bronco. He adopted the pooch in time of his drafting with his current team. For the football superstar, Bronco became his refuge during the tough moments of his career.
We are no strangers that the life of an athlete is not all glitz and glamor. Tim is no stranger to this as he had to face many setbacks before he arrived from where he is now. But according to Tim, Bronco is one of the many reasons why he did not quit sports because the pooch provided him emotional support.
This is why his world shattered when Bronco died in late 2019 due to old age. The pooch died on Tim’s arms, so the death is all the more painful. It took Tim a while to grieve for the demise of his pooch, but he made it one day.
Although it was hard to lose a beloved pooch, the athlete never closed the possibility of adopting a new one. Thus, it was not a surprise when Tim and the girl of his life adopted three new puppies. For Tim, the three puppies would not replace Bronco, but the three could fill in the dog’s void.
In an Instagram post, Tim officially welcomed the three dogs. In the photo, Demi-Leigh was present, and the three dogs were enjoying the couple’s presence. Tim and Demi-Leigh share photos of the three dogs in their respective Instagram pages.
